LeT THere BE liGHT
I have spent the last 4 days going through all the electrical, but the pay off was worth it. I'll be the first to say this truck was nor is a cream puff. Its actually been aallllllllllloooooooottttttttt of work. If I didn't have the "parts truck" this truck would not be. I don't have allot of expectations for this truck, but I do want all the mechanical and electrical to work like it did when it rolled off the factory floor, that's part of the allure of these old rides for me, seeing all the dash gauges and lights light up. Next stop is the heater.

PaTchES
I didn't get a pic of the other side but they were both about the same, bad.
I started out by cutting it out and making a template.
Time to cut it out.
It was a pain welding, I think it was the fact that I had to run a 50' cord to plug it in.
Done, now its time to work on the wiring and paint the rest of the cab.

PrOjeCt 65
I thought I would tear the gauge cluster apart and clean it up.
I painted the back ground cherry red, which is what the inside of the truck will be, and made some skull graphics. Notice the mileage is all back to zero too.
I still have alot to do, this week I will be filling in the rust holes in the floor and working on cleaning up the wiring, wish me luck.
1+1=1
This truck is rough on the out side but the inside is good and so is the wiring harness and it will work good as a parts truck.

65' Chevy

This truck is not going to be one of those projects you say your going to do but it never happens. I have the motor and trans bolted together and it will be in very soon, It took me forever just to get it cleaned out the previous owner had it sitting under a tree for two years with the windows down. Its going to take a lil bit but this will be on the road by winter mark my words! I need to get the donor truck home so I can start replacing all the interior, and ever thing this truck is missing.
