ReLAXaTION
Yesterday I had to go to work on my day off to catch up on some testing, the wind was blow solid at 25mph and it was about 20 degrees outside without the wind chill, needless to say it sucked. When I got home I was hoping to watch my collage team put a smack down on Nevada and relax. That didn't happen ether and all in all it was a crappy day. So today I went in the garage fired up the wielder and got out the saw and made a bracket to put on the belt guard I got this summer.
It was easy and didn't take to long but was just what I needed. I put it on so I would have a place to rest my foot on long rides, helps allot to be able to move your feet around.
I really wanted to take it for a ride but....
the weather was not cooperating.
So back to bed for now.

ALmOst TheRE
Bike is coming together, I'm thinking by next week it will be on the road. I've been making parts and waiting for other parts to come in the mail. I had someone else build me some killer bars that I hope will be here this week. I put these bars together to get the bike around the garage.
20mm shift lever
Bars will look like these. I'll narrow them up a bunch when I get'em.

FrOnt EnD
Well the front wheel finally came, It took what seemed like forever to find the one I needed for the price I wanted to pay. Matt from Wrecked Metals told me he only payed $120 for his front wheel so that's all I could think of when I was looking at $450 wheels and tires online. I found this for $150 and it came with the sweet dice. The Jockey Journal is a great place to find parts, I bought the front wheel and forks with no problem and for way cheaper then you would find on E-Gay. I'm going to tear it all down this weekend and shave the legs. I'm thinking about powder coating the triple trees, bars and forks bottoms. Until next time....

PaRTS ArE COmIng iN
The parts have been slowly coming in, this week I got the Mullins Chain Drive triple trees and my belt drive pulleys. I should get the 41mm legs this week.
I really should have un-hooked the light first
I just have them mocked up because I wanted to know how the would look. I haven't decided if I'm going to polish or powder coat the triple trees. I ordered an internal fork stop that should be here next week and I can get the hole front end on. Also have a spool wheel that should be getting here next week.

BaCK oN THe CHoppING BloCK
Bike has been home for about two weeks now, the insurance cut me a check for the damages and so now it is back on the chopping block again. My motivation has been low but I managed to swap the trans out yesterday and it looks like I'm going to have to make a new clutch lever and shifter lever. I'm going to build supper narrow 41mm front end, I'm using "Mullins Chain Drive" triple trees and Harley wide glide forks with a spool wheel, should look killer. I'll throw up some pics as I go. If you don't know what the inside of a 4speed should look like I assure you it's not like mine, the bar holding the shifter forks snapped in 2 places and the locking dog that goes in between 4th and 3ed is gone, I think some of it is in the bottom of the trans and some of it went through the trans and is some ware on I-84.
